Time to Consider a Clean Break?

You may be washing crops that are covered and not covered by the Produce Safety Rule on the same day with the same equipment. While this is allowed, there are other steps you must take to ensure covered produce does not become cross-contaminated and is safe to eat! Practicing a “clean break” is something that can help achieve this.
